Cuff pain?

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

I'm 4.5 weeks post op, all gone ok stopped bleeding at 2.5 weeks, just yellow discharge now. Pain almost stopped when bleeding did but the last 3 days I've been really sore and think it's from the vaginal cuff but not certain. Any ideas why I would be getting pain at this stage?

I haven't been around much as my relationship has ended, it's for the best. I can now concentrate on myself and get strong. X

Rosie sorry about your relationship. Hope you are ok. The pain could be down to any sutures tightening as they heal but could also be from the vaginal cuff as you say x

Thanks Matron. I'll be fine, just takes a bit of getting used to.

I think it's actually more likely to be my bladder. The cuff would be felt more towards the back whereas this pain (that I've had on and off from the start) is just above my pubic bone right at the front of my abdomen. I've done a stupid thing and started smoking on Friday so think this might be irritating my bladder. I'm an idiot. I don't have stinging an it's not cloudy or bloody so I don't know what's going on. x

Thank you. As usual he's telling me he's going to change. I always took him back in the past because he's very sincere but it never lasts. I just can't do it anymore. I lost 1.5 stone in a year because of the stress. x
