hi everyone 

just thought I would let you know I had a telephone call yesturdsy a day after my pre op and have benn given 5th Feb for my operation 2 weeks and counting. I don't know about anyone else but I felt quite strange after I knew hit the date it was almost as if for the first time it was real.  I had mixed emotions feeling thank god I know what I am aiming to mixed wished being anxious and tearful.  Please tell me I'm normal 😞

    Well if you are not normal then that makes at least two of us that are oddballs! wink I'm so emotional right now, up and down like a yo yo, I feel like Mother Nature has thrown all my remaining PMT at me in one foul swoop xxx

      Thank god it's not only me I'm so frightened 😰 i am really glad that I have a date though and didn't expect it to be so quick .... When is yours Luckymum xxx

      It all seems so real now Jacqui 😞 went to see my GP today he was great and probably told me more than the nurse at the pre op .... Still feel anxious tho .... Any news on your date xxx

      So glad your GP was very helpful.  Isn't it terrible when reality kicks in the emotions really hit very hard. 

      No news on a date yet, just that everything is at a standstill for any non-emergency ops.  I keep working on my pelvic floor and I am enjoying my Zumba while I can.  Stay strong.

    Totally normal and so glad your date is not too far into the future.  Think of this as heading towards the start of your new pain free and healthy life.
