Just an idea, I though it might be good if we all added our pre op and op dates on one thread so that we can all see easily who is up for their op next and wish them well smile

I'll start;

My Pre-Op is 15th Jan and my TAH is 29th Jan

      No probs lol ..less than 48 hours after op lapro ..showered. Off all the catheter and on paracetamol. Ibuprofen home tomo abw 😁 you wont need your dry shampoo they have you up and showered. In no time ..so much nicer xx

      Well done you, you sound like me I was up and showered in no time, it's so nice to get all the hospitally smells off you, I had loads of pink stuff (suppose that the stuff they 'paint' on beforehand) on me so it was good to get rid of that and wash my hair too.

      Hope your recovery is as painless as poss.

      Thats great news, well done you! Hope you get to go home tomorrow smile My op is on a Thursday, so I think I will be in hospital over the weekend too. I've been trying to find out if my hospital has Wifi. I'm not sure, I found a complaint on the internet dated last May that there was none, but the trust replied saying they were looking into it, so fingers crossed, otherwise how will I stay in touch with all you lovely ladies xx

      Thats really good to hear, well done,glad you are recovering well I would love to have had a shower but had to have bed bath for 2 days so dry shampoo for me was heaven.

      USA i could handle that definetly but dont think I would get away with that one sad
