Hi
I doubt anyone has heard of Daws let alone suffer from it. Basically it is withdrawal from a medication (Dopamine Agonist Withdrawal Syndrome). After withdrawing from the meds a year ago I am suffering from depression and anxiety. I have been at my wits end as medics are unsupportive and don't know how to treat the syndrome.
How on earth do we live a life with anxiety and depression. I had it a year now some days (at worst) I cannot physically function, go out just terrifies me. I'm so embarrassed and feel so alone. Just to chat with someone who suffers from depression and anxiety would be amazing. Or if anyone could recommend a online site which is supportive,
Thanks

Have you tried coucelling? I had my first session yesterday, and found it very helpful.
You've coped this long, i'm sure your day will come, where things start to get better in the near future. I might not be much help, but i'm always here if you wanted a chat.
Take care, Sam.

Thank you for your kind offer to chat. How do you cope with your anxiety? Does it affect you a lot?

It does effect my day to day life, yes, especially at work. - and motivation at home. I tend to stick to things i feel comfortable with, and tend to stay in a lot of the time.
Keep in touch,
Sam.
