I am at three weeks recovery after a right anterior hip replacement. The first 10 days are definitely the worst and I still have swelling along the side of my incision. It sounds like you're doing everything right, but listen to your body. It's great that you are going on walks but make sure you don't overdo it because that will definitely set you back. Your body also needs ample time to rest and heal from the trauma of this surgery. Maybe take it easy for a few days with more rest and see if things improve. I think you will notice you are improving a lot more quickly in the coming weeks. Good luck to you!

    Hiya 😁

As said it looks like your doing all the right things, be careful on the walks, it's easy to be taken over with the idea of more is good. At 10 days I was only going to bottom of back garden, take it steady and give yourself some rest, are you on pain medication ?

I think it's better to keep up on the pain meds for now, later on when your in a better place, then you can come off the meds in your own time.

Stay positive and take it one day at a time, I'm sure you will fell 100% better, in the next couple of weeks...

Stay Safe & Stay Happy 😁
