Sure that should be in a geordie accent.....
Hi all
Checking in on day 20 and been having better days in lots of ways, hardly any random tearful outbursts, no headaches, had some sleep (manage about 6-7 hrs some.nights!) So im feeling thankful for small mercies.
Still can't shake constant nausea , curling up in a ball holding my belly n closing my eyes seems to be the only things that eases it. Thats a real drag but doc has decided to send me for tests ( scan, endoscopy, stool test etc) to rule out anything underlying causing the nausea. Doubt theyll find anything although at this stage a bacterial infection or something might at least give them something they can fix as opposed to a wonky mind :-). Has anyone else had nausea for so long??? Its nearly 3 months now!!!!
Hopefully im getting to that corner so many of you seem to have turned. Taking my daughter out for walk to blow the cobwebs away n save her being stuck in with the dull mummy I am on bad days. I do sometimes feel very guilty that im not the normal slightly nutty fun mum ive always been for her but hope to be back to my old daft ways soon.
Thanks for taking the time to read and hope you're all on good days. Xx

On week fourth I was still terrible to be honest. You are getting better faster than me.
However, nausea wasn't one of the side effects that I felt. Everyone responds different, but I think you are progressing quickly. Know that fluoxetine takes about 5 weeks to reach its full concentration in the brain. So it is expected that you will have the initial side effects for several weeks...

Keep telling myself to be patient! Feeling better for a walk. Just really struggle in the mornings to get going feeling soooo sick. Couple of weeks from now im hoping to be looking back on this thinking glad that bits over :-)
Onwards and upwards hey?

I'm doing fine. This Monday I was quite ok. I had a very upset tummy, but my mood was great. Everyone in the work noticed (I'm open with my depression struggle with some of them).
Yes, it is a long process, but I see clearly that I'm progressing. Right now I'm adjusting my dose, very slowly, to attain the "optimal one". Together we will get there =)

Glad you felt ok yesterday, hope it continues tho without the upset tum. I had a good monday, no nausea so felt almost normal -what a difference it makes. Today its lurking in the background but trying to ignore it n pretend its not there but had days a lot worse so looking on it as a positive as much as I can.
Hope your dose levels out soon, have a good day.
Vix xx
