Day 4 of fluoxetine feeling jittery should I keep going?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I'm currently on day 4 taking fluxotine for anxiety and depression and also obsessive thoughts.

I'm feeling really jittery one minute ok the next minute not . I'm on 20mg is this an ok dose to start or should I be on 10mg. Can someone please let me know there experiences and how long it took to get better.

Am I going to get worse as the days go on?

I hAve attempted a few antidepressants over the past couple months and I know I need this and have to sick it out but it's so difficult. It's worse in the morning the gradually gets better at night time.

Please somemail positive storys I don't want to give upeople again 😓

Hi rebecca i was on them 14 years till 3 weeks ago were grt for me. Just stopped working...i had a rough few weeks but felt great at 6 weeks in. If u felt comp suicidal or anything go to yr dr discuss with them or go to a hospital casualty dept. If u can kp busy and cope with the side effects initially i personally would give it a little longer xxx good luck xx

I know it's awful to and I make it worse by googling things! But I just can't keep off two internet. My worst problem is that I keep thinking about it even when I'm not depressed or anxious I'm constantly thinking about it and it just makes it worse and worse! The doctor said these Meds will calm my obsessive thoughts I really hope they work x

My son is literally the only thing that keeps me going . If it wasn't for him I don't know where I'd be . When im feeling down and can't take it anymore I just think of him and how I need to watch him grow up . It's so difficult I know but use your daughter to get through this she needs you hope you manage to get stable again

      Xx

Oh no I really feel for you I hope to God I don't have this for 25 years have you only tried mediations? My doctors going to put me through cbt once I've leveled out abit on Meds. He thinks I have ptsd so strange how things can just hit you out of the blue. I've been depression and anxiety free for around 3 years and it just suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks one day xx

When i was first taking antidepressants/anxiety/OCD i started having similar symptoms like uncontrollable movements, however after a while these subsided. It could be the same for you, so I'd wait a bit and just tell your doctor about it in your next appointment.

Hope your medication is successful! X
