Been diagnosed with an anal fissure which is best described as chronic with amount of blood I'm passing, I've been given rectogesic to use twice a day, it seems the bleeding has got worst, has anyone experienced this and has things improved ? Also noticed I'm getting heqdaches, do these again improve in time ? Any advice would be great or other methods to cure it appreciated with out surgery.

I was prescribed Rectiv. It does give headache initially, but I believed it helped. I didn't go for any surgery. It took months, but pain did go down slowly. I also know two people, a friend and family member, both healed fissure without surgey. Both took months. Of cause, you need to manage easy BMs. Without easy BMs, nothing would help. Hope you heal naturally!
