Diagnosed with Chronic Non Bacterial Prostitus/Ejaculation

To make a very long story short, back in July 2014, I had a vibration sensation in the tip of my penis, I had masturbated and the next day I had a knifing pain. Went to 2 Urologists, both tried Cipro, felt better but I started getting pains in back, groin, penis tip, and then after a few weeks I started getting pain in the base and shaft.

Urologist said I had Non Bacterial Prostitus. Question is I havent ejaculated since that day back in July and I used to masturbate a few days a week. I am not in a relationship and havent been in awhile. I am terrified to masturbate because  am scared of the pain that may come with it. Also the last last time I did masturbate, I did it way to vigorously with a semi erect penis. Ive had issues getting a fully erect penis in the past and most of the times Ihave had sex I had to use lube. Another post for another time, should I be scared to masturbate?

Sorry about the spelling error. Just an update, after 6 months I finally decided to "take care of myself", actually it was 3 days ago, and I am perfectly fine now. It didnt look to healthy and had a yellowish color and after doing more web surfing that seems to be typical when you wait a long time or it can be from a prostate infection. No pain anymore so maybe there was some urine back up that caused an infection. All I know is that it was a brutal 7 months and I am hoping it's over now.
