Diarrhea after gallbladder removed

I take questran and it helps a lot but still have bouts of diarrhea. Anyone have recommendations?

    Take a good probiotic, 50 Billion or more CFU’s. Foods that help are toast, bananas, potatoes. Try some fermented foods and drinks, these are great for the gut. If your gut is healthy, the diarrhoea should subside.

      Thanks! Do you ever feel a weird humming or almost”” purring feeling in your tummy?? I swear it’s bile - I never had that sensation before Gb was taken out!!

      Hi

      I haven’t had my gall bladder out, I’ve never heard that. But the feeling I get in my upper right quadrant is a dull ache and sometimes shooting pain. I also feel s if bile is struggling to be released. I’m not sure whether it’s just my gall bladder or liver, maybe fatty liver. Can I ask what your symptoms were for you to get your gall bladder removed? 🤔
