I take 5mg of diazepam a day want to stop taking them my physiatrist says just stop taking them I only been taking them since October 23, a little over 2 months what should I do..

    Yes taper them. Have you heard of the Ashtons manual, it is about tapering off drugs such as benzos. Take care.

    You might get a withdrawal from them but I'd take 5 mg one day and then half the next for a week and so on until you end up taking just half everyday  and then take half one day and then nothing the day after until u feel ok nor taking any
