Did my banding fall off too soon

hello. i had my haemorrhoids banded today. i was in quite some discomfort after the procedure

about 4 hours later i had a tummy ache and went and did my business lol. which didnt hurt.

then i took tramadol and about half hour later i have no pain, so now im worried that the banding has fallen off because the pain has gone away

i did ask if i could poop after the procedure and i was told yes. i dont know if a lot of the pain i was feeling prior was because perhaps i had a bowel movement causing the discomfort compressing the haemorrhoids or something like that.

i paid for this procedure so i cant afford for go in for a check up right now.

    Hi Lola, bands with the shrivelled hemorrhoid usually fall off anywhere between 3-10 days after banding. You may or may not notice them in the pan. Tummy ache might be related to pressure of stools but may also just be a coinsidence. The area where the hemorrhoids were will be healing so can take 6 weeks to 4 months to heal. So we have to be patient. Keep healthy eating & drinking 2 litres of water per day. Bit of a journey. Stay well & walking is good exercise too.
