Discouraged and hurting after H surgery

Hello everyone. 51 yo male here. I had hemorrhoid surgery ten days ago. Specifically, i had a combination of the THR procedure for an internal one, combined with the removal of two others at the anal rim wall. Being ten days in, I am so completely discouraged and fearful. the pain from each BM is still excruciating. i continue to bleed daily so i have to wear a pad. Still have trouble urinating when there is even the slightest pain. Pain meds don’t really help much. Cannot sit down, can only walk or lay down. Is this normal or am i discouraged got no reason? i just don’t know what to do
