You really need to get the MRI to rule out anything that would show up on it that can be treated.  I doubt seriously that it will show anything, though.  What tests did you have before and what was your diagnosis?  What did you do the first time for treatment?

Hi ,I know how you feel believe me. I felt like I'm going to die on November last year and ever since I feel like that. My doctor said I have anxiety and panic attacks and will go away, but it didn't. That change my life and I really got anxiety and panic attacks, because I didn't know what is going on with me. Last was to my doctor and explain how exactly I feel and he sent me to neurologist to make me MRI and EEG . Don't be afraid of the test, just do it ,if you think that is your chance to find out the cause of your illness.

I wish you luck and don't over think!

    Many blessings!

I'm dizzy all the time and my job was a server . I couldn't do it anymore even got laid off on the 3rd. It's just awful. I feel like I'm floating and I'm not on earth. I checked my eyes becouse I felt like I can't see clearly, but my eyes are ok . I got anxiety and panic attacks, but I'm perfectly fine in good mood ,my mind is calm but I still feel like I'm not on earth. Really bad sensation and freaks me out .

I feel sorry for u... This is really scary feeling and what do you do to relieve your illness?

Has your hearing been affected? You really should have mri if suggested, it' rules out anything serious. How old are you, by the way. Cheers DEL

    Hello PJ

So sorry to hear your plight,

I have onl suffered for a short while, seems like a lifetime!!

I have been prescribed Betahistine, which was helping, not sure now!

I wake with it every morning, after disrupted sleep, then fight with it all day.

The Betahistine did help, initially, but seems much weaker now. As for the MRI other people who've had this have reported little benefit from the experience, as it rarely shows anything being wrong. I've had 2 MRI's following a stroke and several TIA's (ministrokes) and can sympathise with your fears.

Hope you get some resolution soon.

    Best wishes

So sorry to hear how much of a problem this is to you. But I would say you need to have all the tests possible. And there is info on this site about vestibular rehabilitation which may help. Good luck H
