Timmy12, I don't get it all the time but I do get it occasionally. If you have it all the time, I would go to docs and get things ruled out like inner ear problems. He may be able to prescribe something for the dizziness. I did have vertigo one night really bad in the middle of the night and felt like I could fallĀ out of bed.

The doctor gave me a thorough examination but didn't mention vertigo,it's been about 2months now I've had it,he says I'm too young for menopause but the nurse said I'm going through perimenopause when I told her all my symptoms, next step is opticians, although I wear glasses already,it's getting me down big time now, totally lost don't know what's happening to me.

      Thanks for replying Nancy 0925

How old are you? This blog is quite helpful, you will see many different symptoms being discussed on here. Dizziness is definitely one of them. Jayneejay can suggest some good vitamin supplements to take. This is a tough transition and it's a really challenging time for us women. You probably are going through perimenopause.

Yes I get this too. It comes and goes. One night I was lying in my bed and it felt like I was on a waterbed. That's how dizzy I felt. It's crazy. I am anxious about going outside too sometimes but I don't let it stop me. I have to do what needs to be done.

Yes I've had it for over a year now. Originally diagnosed as labrynthitis and was off work for 7 weeks. I still get it all the time now, I'm aware of it most days but it's worse if I need to bend, look up or stand leaning over at a table or desk to write etc. It's really awful.

I get loads of the other peri symptoms too, anxiety, joint pain, itchy skin, 3 day headaches at least once a month, brown spotting, irreg periods.. The list is endless.

I was so relieved to find this forum as most if the people I mentioned these symptoms to didn't know what I meant.

    You take care.

    Cami Xx

No what you mean, for a while I thought I was going mad,I was so glad when the nurse told me about peri, I had about a month feeling great lately and then out the blue it all came back,I am so glad for this forum, even though I know what's wrong with me I still get scared and going on here always calms me down a bit.
