Do gallbladder attacks and periods have a connection??

Hii. As my previous post has stated, I have gallstones, I’m still waiting to have my gallbladder removed in a few months.

I have had irregular periods for 3-4 years now but every month I still get the cramps and noticed that seems to be when I get a gallbladder attack I’m  just wondering if they have a connection at all and has anyone else experience the same pattern? Or is it all in my head. I’ve not had an attack for 2 weeks,  but I am “due” to come on my period (get the cramps) anytime now and I am paranoid I’m going to have another attack 😩

    I've noticed myself that my gallbladder symptoms get worse around that time of the month. I know gallstones can be caused by estrogen so maybe that could be why?
