Do I have oral cancer?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I'm a non smoker, non drinker, 20 years old male, and I have painful 'wounds' in my mouth.

These wounds are present like a week ago, but after a few days it became non painful, so I didn't pay attention to it anymore, however yesterday it started to hurt again.

I have pain when I open my mouth (for example when I eat, when I'm talking it does not hurt)

I'm very afraid, is it cancer?

    Hi,

If you have any doubts go to your gp. We,like you, are fellow suffered and although we support in any way we can we are unable to give you a proper diagnosis.

No wounds in the mouth should be left unchecked, if you can get to your dentist quicker than your gp they may be able to tell you.

    Mike.

Canker sores can be painful , rinse your mouth with salted water . They heal in 1 or 2 weeks.

Do you remember some food scratching inside your mouth ? Did you get in a fight and got hit in your cheeks ? Those can cause canker sores

Cancer is unlikely at your age , if the sores look dark or black then you should worry
