It's been removed because someone has reported it for some reason to the moderator......

I've read the details about this forum and they seem very strict on what's posted hu .

Perhaps the Information was breaching there policy's. I guess it protects us all.xx

It was deleted because of possible issues over copyright and posting do's and dont's as a "one for all fit" isn't always appropriate. I am going to add a pinned discussion to this group with useful resources similar to the example below from the menopause group. This will be where appropriate links can be added as long as they meet the rules for posting links. It may take me a few days to get round to adding the discussion but once there I will advise on how users can request links to be added to the discussion.

The resources on the menopause forum is extremely useful so a similar resource would help ladies before and after surgery and when Emis Moderator has this information available we can all contribute with any articles or information we have access to,

Gillian I'm so pleased you are home and I think it was a sensible suggestion to ask to stay another day rather than go home with a catheter. It's not very fashionable at all! Make sure you keep on top of any pain and any trouble with your bowels take a stool softener if you're not already. Remember rest, rest and more rest especially in the first 2 weeks because you've had major surgery. Please keep in touch with us and we are here if you need any more advice xx

Eve, none of the ladie will hate you but there is a difference in commenting and getting personal about an indervidual.

I was surprised to read your post eve especially as the wording of Froglets post was disgraceful and insulting to me to say the least and she hasn't actually been active on this forum to have helped in any way. I don't agree she has the right to post "as she feels" in this way.

Hi Gillian...I am 7 weeks post op now and feeling much better...I was very depressed in the beginning.I think a lot of it was shock! I had a prolapse bladder repair using mesh....How are you anyway? Hope you're feeling much better.

I was ssssoooo frightened to poo. taking stool softeners didn't work so i ate loads of roughage...i found bran works well....good luck in the toilet!

Stool softeners can take up to a week to work which is why many Urogynaecologists prescribe them 2 weeks before a repair, usually a rectocele repair however but that just shows how long they can take.
