I'm still having pain in stomach area, some is digestive and some is pain and soreness from internaly I guess . I'm little over 5 weeks now from surgery. Just seeing if anyone else had these symptoms weeks or months out? This sucks I was hoping to feel better by now. I went to the chiropractor today that was a mistake I think I'm hurting now like I did 2 days after surgery. Wow ,

Yes.  Pain almost everday and I am at 14 weeks!   Finally went to a GI specialist who suspects thst my small intestine was kinked or twisted during the procedure.  He is probably going to order a CT enterotomy or some such thing.   But I have to wait 4 more weeks.  Crazy

Boy you are brave. I wouldn't have went to a chiropractor. He could hurt you. You are just 5 week's out. You just had major surgery. You are healing from muscle tears and removal of Gb. Take it easy there. I didn't feel better till the 3rd month out. So just hang in there. As time goes you will feel better. Ok. Good Luck.

I did and still do every once in a while. I have read in the forums that you can take 6 months to get your full energy and strength back. Also read that you can still have a soreness or pain in the area for up to a year. I'm sure that most probably don't but there are some that may not fit the regular mold. Talk to your doctor and for sure if its bad pain. Good luck and feel better your not alone.

Hi Brian, I am now nearly four weeks after surgery and like many people on here have learned that this op is not a simple procedure and recovery is a long haul! Internal healing takes a long time, be patient, get plenty of rest and eat small bland meals. This is hard as it is such a common procedure but removal of an organisation a big deal. Take care and healing thoughts 😊

Hi, yes well I did go the chiropractor yesterday he poked and cracked . I ended up in ER with really bad abdominal pain last night. CT was normal and blood work was normal I'm still in pain not sure if it's tissue pain from surgery and the chiropractor irritated really bad or something else.

I have been scoped from both ends all normal . I'm in pain laying here typing this sucks.

Hi Brian , I'm 9 months out and still have pains every day .

Eating makes it worse and being hungry makes it worse so I can't win !

The medical profession don't tell you what can happen after this surgery ,

I never dreamt it would have been as bad as this .I've been told I'm a mystery

and they don't know what to do for me so I'm left in this terrible pain every day .

Hi Linda, sorry to hear your still in pain 9 months after. Yes as I have said I have had most test run but everything is normal, but I'm staying positive as you should I know it's hard when your in pain believe me the real bad pain for me started yesterday, so I'm hoping it will pass in the days ahead.

Hopefully yours will soon as well.
