Hello Shaymaa30961: Sorry to hear you are having a bad experience with Mirtazapin/ Remeron. The information leaflet that came with the medicine will tell you that one of the side effects is restlessness. This is common with these meds. It is too early to say how you will respond to this med ,considering you have only taken it for 7 days. If you can persevere give it at least four weeks before taking a decision. I did experience restlessness in the early days while on it, now after one and a half year on I hardly feel restlessness. This is one of the better antidepressants for me. It does have some other side effects though, but every one does not get them. Hope this is of some help. BW

Stopping it suddenly can cause withdrawal symptoms. These include anxiety, agitation, shaking, and tingling or electric shock-like feelings. They also include sweating, nausea, vomiting, strange dreams, dizziness, tiredness, confusion, and headache.
