Hi ladies,,, I have had all the nasty symptoms for about 4 years now,, most of the time unable to work because the overwhelming symptoms that all of us ladies have on this forum.., gotten to the point I know they are all there still but just try to ignore them constantly,, but this buzzing ringing thing started up about a month ago and has been there everyday since mainly at night... I have herd other ladies talk about and I thought oh I lucky I never got that one and then BAM!!! IM SO MAD!!! My question is did this start with you later in the peri proses because it seems I might be getting closer to meno hopefully.. Im 53 almost 54 and my cycles are getting further apart missed like 3 periods this year... Im actually hope this could be a sign of the light of the end of the tunnel... Any experiance with this one ladies??? HUGS TO YOU ALL!!

Hi Beverly ive had a hissing sound in my ears for 3 years now. Had lots of tests to see if any causes but all came back clear. Started HRT 4 months ago and although its been amazing for other symptoms the hissing is still there. Its definitely worse at night and if i get anxious about it. Sleep apps on my phone at night do help xx

my buzzing was caused by low iron , been on a course of iron a few months now and its gone , feel your pain as its so annoying

Was iron low from your periods being heavy or was it just low Claire,,, just trying to ck some of the obvious right now before I totally chalk it up to peri AGAIN..... one more on the list,,, thanks for your reply will ck iron...

think slot of things triggered low iron , coeliac , periods unable to absorb iron , vitamins minerals and nutrients made me very ill .

Hi Clare,, am trying to get into doc after u helped me also have tingling and numbness in my hands at night,, sever fatigue and forgetfulness and what I call staggering... Did you have some of this also??? also headache the last couple days... I have autoimmune hashimotos and after looking up the anemia found that they can go hand in hand!!! thank you so much for your post if you have any other advise please let me know,, I also try to eat gluten free because was told by the doc I have IBS and my brother has crohns so now Im wondering if I Have a problem with my stomach.. sometimes it is easy to chalk it up to meno but I dont know???Hugs to you❤

yes i have hashimotos too, but my drs is useless i have to research everything myself , yes pins and needles , sore heads and lots more , i believe alot happens in our gut and if you can heel or be kind to your gut it will resolve most things . i have been gluten free since 2016 and feel better wont say wonderful and this peri menopause has flattened me . Started with anxiety , panic attacks , insomnia . It was an awful time in my life ... it was hard working out what was coeliac what was peri ams what was my thyroid trouble ...

Don't you love the way all the doctors and everyone else tell you that hashimotos is no big deal...When I was 37 I diagnoses myself through the library because there was no internet and I almost died from it,, It took 6 years to figure it out and get it under control,, they all told me I was full of it there was nothing wrong,, That stung me forever with doctors! Now this had no idea it was connected until u! Ive been telling my specialist all kinds of stuff you think she would have tested!! I keep going back and forth right now been real sick for 4 months hypo-hyper... Did you doc prescibe the iron or did u just take??? once again thank you clare just hope all these symptoms get better haven't been able to work❤Could just cry,, but i have been through so much I can't anymore...

Dear Beverly i was so ill as welll felt i was dying every day , but because the wheat was destroying my gut i couldnt absorb my thyroxine and being unable to absorb the one medication that keeps your body functioning is really scary , i had to work all this out myself , heal my gut with a gluten free diet up my water in take , get as much nurrients and minerals into my body as i could , i dont do vitamins as these are oacked with additives and talc so i eat or drink fruit and veg , i juice veg alot , my iron i makes liver pate and eat his most days but i did have to take iron from the GP , i dont eat soya or drink tap water as has flluroid added to it . fluroide free toothpaste and gluten free shampoo , seems to drastic but just change things weekly , and move your whole household on to it , being GF is wasy as most things with gluten wheat rye and barley are in processed food , cook fresh wholesome food for the family and its easy with the exception of bread and pasta . Use GF flour and you get use to it ... I was seriously ill in 2016 and had to help myself . hope this helps .. keep going you will get there

Hate to say it but I get a little rebelous,, your giving me more inspiration to start again... You understand what I mean Im sure... thank you again,, I am going to do the epson salts That sounds like it could be very relaxing and healthy at the same time...
