Does this look like herpes?

So I started off with 3-4 small lumps near my bottom, they've gone down now and I'm left with these red patches. I'm convinced it is herpes and I'm going to book an appointment to have a swab taken. They're not painful at all. image

    yeah looks like herpes hun your doctor will give you some medication

    Thanks, I think so too! I went to my GP on Friday and they said a fungal infection and gave me hydrocortisone/clotrimazole cream but I'm 99% sure it is herpes so back to my gp tomorrow to ask for a swab x

      how long were the bumps there?? and how long have those sores been there?

    The bumps were there for 2-3 days and I've still got the sores. I've experienced no pain and haven't been sexually active for 14 months and this is the first time I've had anything like this

      I went to my gp and they wouldn't take a swab, I couldn't get an appointment at my gum clinic and they've now healed. I think it definitely is herpes though. I haven't been sexually active for over a year though

      at this point if it's been over a year from last sexual activities a type specific IgG test should give u results if it was hsv or not. good luck
