Did you recently have sex? Was it unprotected? New partner? Please provide a backstory but it looks concerning. I would get it checked asap.

yes, did have unprotected sex with my boyfriend. got tested today so im praying.. this is how it looks today.. weve been at it since may 6th!

only partner is my boyfriend, we've been at it since the beginning of may. it is unprotected. yesterday was day 2 and i tried posting a picture the spot is totally gone . but i am still worried i got tested yesterday im so depressed.

If it cleared up that quickly it's probably not herpes but it's a great thing that you got checked. Even if it is, it's only a skin condition like acne and chicken pox which pretty much all us experienced before.
Since you're having unprotected sex with a fairly new partner it's highly recommended that you get tested for all STIs, take him with you as well. Warm regards.

got my results yester and tested positve for HSV-2 via blood sample. im crushed i have no other s/s

Please don't be discouraged, it's only a skin condition and your outbreak was extremely mild you might not ever experience another one. Look at it this way, they don't screen pregnant women for it and adult film stars.
As preventative measures, maybe try going on antivirals to decrease the frequency of shedding and inform your sexual partners in the present and future. Well wishes to you.

thank you, i've informed my boyfriend and were waiting on his results. im a mother of 2 abd its really hard to hug my children.
