So basically I get DP ( The feeling like your not in your body or not yourself) people says it's caused by being anxious but why does it happen when I'm not anxious? They say its caused by anxiety but happens when I'm calm? Starting to freak out

    It becomes a habit very quickly, an anxious mind tends to always be anxious whether we recognise it or not. Until the root cause is resolved anyway. It's habit forming basically

    I know how u feel it stays all the time with me but we gotta learn to accept it fearing it makes it worse sad

    I get that feeling a lot too, where I feel like reality isn't real and I don't feel like myself. I'll space out a lot and it'll send me into a panic. I guess it becomes something subconscious just like anxiety sometimes.
