DREAM

I DREAM OF HAVING A LONG LONG SLEEP.
I DREAM OF NO MORE PAIN.
I DREAM OF PEOPLE UNDERSTANDING.
I DREAM OF COMPASSION
I DREAM OF THE PERSON I USE TO BE.
I DREAM OF WAKING UP TO MY OLD LIFE, AND HOW THINGS USE TO BE.
THEN I WAKE UP TO FIND IT WAS ALL A BAD DREAM.
I AM ME AGAIN WITH MY CHRONIC CONDITION.

I can't even remember when I last felt absolutely fine
As I read that, I thought, if i could have just one of those dreams which one would I choose? What is the most important?
I could not pick one over another as each one is as demeaning as the next....

I were on Pregsbalin for 8 months with dreadful side effects, including feeling as though I were drunk (I wish) I also put on nearly a stone with them. Asked doc to take me off them, he said no your body will get used to them..So I thought, its my body, and i will wean myself off. I took me about three months, I felt better off them and lost the weight. I had nothing only Paracetamol for a while, then decided to go back and see another doc. He understood, and put me on Oramorph. Been on that now for 3 years. Its ok, takes the edge off I can cope with it except when I have funny turns like I did on Saturday. I am ok now, off to th doc's in a while. have a good day if you can. And enjoy your holidays.
