Driving Licence Revoked due to taking Venlafaxine

Has anyone else been refused a driving licence because they are taking venlafaxine?.. Mine was revoked after applying and my GP said I had memory problems??????

    No never...I know several people on Venlafaxine, both high and low doses but they're still driving and there's never been any mention that they shouldn't be....in the patient info leaflet it just adds a warning that if drowsy on this medication do not drive machinary. But that can be said for a lot of medication, I think it just depends on how it affects the individual. When I was prescribed it 4 years ago my GP never said that I can't drive whilst taking this, nor did the psychiatrist.

    It states it can cause drowsiness. However I suspect it's because of what your GP has said with the memory loss that they have revoked licence. Iv been on it 15 years and drove perfectly x
