anyone here have difficulties with their Thyroid levels (or Blood glucose) after starting the estradiol ("E-ring"wink?  Im post menopausal (had a complete hysterectomy in 2003) and the symptoms are very upsetting.  Trying the e-ring and not feeling right.  It's not a systemic delivery system and my gyno insists my symptoms (elevated blood sugar--not feeling well--havent had my blood work re-run yet so not sure what my TSH levels are doing.  I'm giving it a "wait-see" but in the meantime, I'm not feeling well.

Hi Rose, if you look at the history or synthetic HRT, you'll find they aren't  a good treatment protocol due to cancer, endocrine system disruption, etc. try a bioidentical HRT with a doctor who specializes in hormone treatment.

A quick online search of "E ring side effects" shows a giant list of side effects that would certainly discourage people from using this drug.

Thank you.  I take armour thyroid rather than synthroid for same reason.

It's very frustrating because of the medical insurance companies' regulations.  I will seek out a doctor willing to work with me on natural alternatives.

Yes, I completely agree. Insurance companies shouldn't be practicing medicine.
