Eating too much

Tomorrow , it will be three weeks since my TAH and for the past two weeks I have been eating as though there is a threat of food rationing. I eat at least every four hours and I am craving chocolate, biscuits and cake. I normally limit carbs. Is it the hormones or am I just using this as an excuse to be greedy? What do we think ladies?

I am eating a load of rubbish too, more chocolate the better for me. Think we need it to feel better. Can always lose it when we're after again. Don't worry about it. It's normal from my point of view. Could be hormones, I had everything removed too.am on patches now. I love to eat choc and cakes at the min and have done since week 2. I am 5 weeks post op X

    HiĀ

I am due to have an abdominal hysterectomy in 5 weeks time and quite looking forward to stocking up my food cupboards ready. Many people say that you lose your appetite for a couple of weeks.I have a work colleague who had keyhole surgery 7 weeks ago and she lost her appetite for about 5 weeks and then she got a craving for pizzas which she didn't normally eat before.I like my food so I hope I have a good appetite.

I am 4 weeks post op, for the first few days I had barely any appetite, but boy have I made up for it since!! Chocolate and biscuits have become a regular friend on a daily basis, I'm not sure if it's normal or hormones etc I just know it's what I want so it's what I have, I'll run round the block a few times once I'm able LOL
