Ectopic heartbeats

I don't know if I am in the right place but I could really do with some help. About two weeks ago I went to the doctors as I was having problems with my heart. Normal heart rate but I was experiencing missed beats. He said they were Ectopic, there was nothing to worry about and was going to organise a 24hr monitor. I am worried sick. I can't stop thinking about it which I am sure is making things worse. Some days are better than others but I need some advice about how to cope with them. Will they go away on their own?

    This is for abdominal disorders. You might want to try "cardiovascular" forum.

    Ectopic heartbeats are nothing to worry about...i wore a heart monitor for 24 hours and thats how mine was detected...i get missed heartbeats....but the cardiologist and doc will keep an eye on it...stop worrying they are common.....best wishes....
