When I insert a lubricated finger into my vagina I feel a sort of fleshy mass ball blocking the entrance. I can push through and get my finger all the way in still, but as my finger goes in, the “ball” curves inward to the top and then it’s just the normal ridged wall of my vagina. I feel like it’s part of my anatomy however, because I have felt this ball before, but it was further pushed in. I’ve researched everything I possibly can on Google to find out what it is. It is most definitely not my cervix. I’m worried because this shouldn’t be normal to feel a lump/ball slightly protruding towards the surface of my vaginal opening??? As you can see from the pics, it’s right below my clitoris. It kind of attaches to the clitoris hood and goes all the way down under/around to the inside. I did have a very bad yeast infection before this ball became bigger, maybe that’s what caused it to enlarge?? And during sex, with my ONLY partner, it slightly burns at first even when I am fully aroused. It burns when we are finished as well. I also have recently been tested for HIV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. All negative! The arrow in my pic is pointing to my vaginal entrance. The other drawing is circling the ball. During intercourse it kind of hurts a little when the penis is inserted because it’s blocking the opening. In between is fine. And after, it burns just a little for a couple of minutes I’d say. I’m really scared, and I want to see a doctor. However I am 20 and am afraid to make an appointment because I don’t know what to say to my mom... It’d be really awkward. Could I just go in for an examination? What kind would that be called? Sorry if this is long, but thank you all very much

I have no idea what it actually could be but honestly it looks like a very normal nice vagina if it really concerns you I would hope your mother would understand and back your decision to go to the doctor.

Hi I have something similar. I went to my doctor and I have a rectocele. Maybe you have some sort of Pelvic Organ Prolapse. worth asking your doctor. Does it feel kind of like a balloon?
