My latest ct scan says my spleen measures 16cm. I have cerousis of the liver and recently diagnosed with liver cancer. Shouldn't I be worried about it being so enlarged. Aliso my cancer Dr wants to do a precedure on me and I am not sure that is a good idea while my spleen is enlarged. Very worried about what to do

Ask the doctor lots of questions, he obviously knows what he's going to do. If doctors explain everything to me I feel  as though I am included, and relaxed, about things. It's the not knowing ,or being told, that annoys me to death ..so.. ASK

Thank you for your suggestions.  When I agreed to the procedure for my cancer I wasn't aware that my spleen was so enlarged until test results came back.  Iam going to email my Dr to ask more questions. Thanks agan

Morning Renee,, don't know much about Spleens, whether they are an important body part. I find Google very helpful in situations  like this, when I haven't a clue ,google knows absolutely everything ,or know a man that does.

Let me know your decision,, and come back for a chat ,I find that talking to someone helps,,  unless of course it's one of the "know all's

    Big Breathes.... good for stress,rolleyes
