Epiretinal membrane after laser cataract surgery

i had cataract surgery on both eyes 2 years ago. I developed pco in both and have had yag on both eyes. The floaters I experience are terrible. In October I was diagnosed with epiretinal membrane in the right eye and my vision went from 20/20 to 20/50. It has affected my near and far vision and you can’t correct it with glasses. My ophthalmologist wants to see me back in May and if it progresses, I will need retinal surgery to peel off the membrane. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't know, but this may well explain the symptoms I'm experiencing .....after the lens replacement surgery I had 10 months ago - a Weiss ring developed and I have experienced blurred vision ever since; objects I see with the left eye are about 30% smaller, blurry and father away than what I see with the right eye.......

This makes perfect sense.....my doc is considering a PRK procedure on the left eye, but I'm wary as contacts or glasses do not seem to improve the blurriness ......
