Epley Maneuver

Before i head off to work i wanted to type in this post, as i read about

alot of people that have dizziness.

I had it two weeks ago, and for me it was positional.

I do not know if you ladies have this when you move or turn in bed (bpv) or if its a different type of dizzy that meno related only.

Im sharing because i was reall off balance the other week, and it came and went until i asked the doc to please do this nmaneuver which is pretty simple to do.

So has anyone tried this if your realllly dizzy when you change positions?

it cured me..

thought id share

Yes! I use it fairly often and it really stops the dizzines for a few months at a time. I do it myself on my bed with pillows under my shoulders. It is my miracle cure everytime. My mom taught me. You can find the videos online that will take you through it step by step if you google it.

I’ve done this manoeuver many many times and it’s works really well for vertigo . I had very bad vertigo these last 11 years thought it was due to a bad head injury but now .... seeing it may have all been all Peri .

I could live with it and it is different from the meno dizziness I’ve had.

My vertigo was more if I turned over in bed shifted head quickly and sometimes I even screamed as it was so weird like being upside down .... the meno dizziness is more like a boat feeling . Just wobbly .

Thanks for posting!  It is very timely as I feel like I am rocking on on a boat tonight.  I thought it was a migraine coming on but recall having water in my ear this morning.   I am going to give this a try.

    hi mauiblue,

it sounds like you had a case of vertigo, which is very different from dizziness. that is how I started this journey, for 3 days I could not get up without help. my dr said that was when I went full blown into periscope. I have had the dizziness and off balance feeling since then (almost 5 yrs) but have not had vertigo since. I am so grateful for that. I would not wish that on my worst enemy! hugs to you!
