Equivocal IGM, strange symptoms afterwards. Herpes?

Hi. Ive been going crazy these past few weeks. I went in for my annual GYN appointment and came back equivocal on an HSV IGM test. My new boyfriend (only 2 months of sleeping together) failed to mention that he has HSV -1 (oral) which I don’t fault him for because almost everyone does. I, however, have never tested positive for HSV in my whole life. He performed oral on me but hasnt had a cold sore in over 10 years.

This sent me into a spiral and a few hours after receiving the results, I started having strange vaginal and anal symptoms which included itching, burning, discharge and something similar to an anal fissure. I schedule a doctors appointment the next day, and by the time I got to the doctor the "anal fissures" were already healing. He said that the fact that they were almost gone in a span of 24 hours would mean that it’s very unlikely that the anal symptoms had anything to do with HSV. I spoke to my GYN on the phone and she said i probably had a yeast infection. She prescribed a cream that I was supposed to insert to help with the symptoms.

I went home, feeling better (emotionally) until the itching around my vaginal area started to get worse. I went to a different GYN, who said that my area looked yeasty, and that the cream I was using to treat my suspected yeast infection, was probably causing irritation around my area. I stopped using the cream, took a fluconazole pill, and over the next few days, my symptoms subsided. however, when she swabbed me for yeast, it came out negative. She told me that that might happen because I had already started using the cream to treat my symptoms.

Everything seemed fine UNTIL… I was having trouble urinating. It felt like I couldn’t empty my bladder all the way and my pee stream was weak. I had already gone to the doctor twice that week so I didn’t have time to go again, but through messages my doctor told me to treat my symptoms with AZO, which actually helped.

However, about a week after I went back in to have an ultrasound for my ovarian cyst, (unrelated to this issue) submitted a urine sample and it came back perfectly fine. By the time I went in for my ultrasound, my urinary symptoms had already subsided, so I figured that would happen.

Then, a few days later, my menstrual cycle started. All the symptoms that I mentioned before had disappeared, and I felt a lot better. This is the first time that I actually believed all three of the doctors who told me that it was very unlikely that I had genital HSV 1.

It is now a few days since the last day of my period and I’m starting to have weird symptoms again. I was having itching on my labia around my anal area and I now have two weird bumps where my thigh meets my genitals.

This entire experience has been difficult because I have hydradenitis also known as HS. It causes bumps boils, pimples, cuts, pain. ALL of which are symptoms that overlap with herpes. I think the bumps are behaving differently than normal, but my doctor says they look normal.

Ill attach a picture of the before and after of the bumps, which i admit, I picked at for hours. Causing bleeding and pain. Did i mention i have diagnosed anxiety 😦. Im obsessing over this and i need an answer. I got retested this morning so we'll see.

Got your message i hope this is the post you are referring to. Pics are a little too zoomed in and blurry but it looks more like ingrown hair than herpes. Answer me this, if you saw that same pimple on your elbow would you be this alarmed? See your doctor for confirmation but looks normal to me.

IGM tests are not accurate you need an IGG test after 3 months.
