Escitalopram

On 5mg of escitalopram, day 11, internal treamberling, how long before it starts to work, also on 7.5mg of mitazapine to help with sleep,

    I started on 10mg of escitalopram a few months ago, docs told me if takes a few months to start working. And the side effects for me stopped after a few weeks.

    I don't know much about these two drugs, the Lexapro and Mitazapine because they are SSRI's. Looking it up the Lexapro can be addictive and the Mitazapine can cause weight gain. IMHO, stop taking drugs and seek out just counseling for your anxiety. Also, DO NOT let any doctor prescribe you any kind of Benzodiazepine-they are all very addictive and a bear from which to withdraw. For sleep, ask the doc about hydroxyzine 25 which really works and is not addictive.
