Good luck, you should start to feel the benefits soon, there are some side effects, I have felt tired all the time.....and my joints ache a bit.......but hey, I feel so much better while taking them!!

You sound like me, I have got to stage where i just want to think about other things and not plan around "good weeks" and what trousers will fit and God forbid I every wear white!! I wanted to try to get to menopause but how long do you wait, I am 51 now and showing no signs! My friend recently had a hysterectomy and I can see such a difference, she looks so well and happy......I remember feeling like that (probably a couple of years ago) and can't wait to feel better again!! I used to exercise, but can't even go for a long walk without paying for it later with pain and bleeding!!
They said mine should be Aug or Sept.......hey, we might be looking good and feeling fine by Christmas!! 😀
Let me know how you get on with Esmya, they really do help and as no bleeding or pain you can get head straight for hysterectomy.

Hi I started Esmya 6 weeks ago and I had continuous spotting and a bit of heavy bleeding now and again for about the first 3 to 5 weeks. I contacted my consultant to ask if this was normal and she said yes and it can last for up to 2 months at first. Mine stopped about 1-2 weeks ago and I've had nothing since which is such a relief. I have had no other side effects and just wish I could take these pills until I'm completely through the menopause. It's wonderful to have no bleeding now. I have a 3.5cm fibroid and it's not grown since last summer but I had very heavy and sometimes long periods so the consultant suggested these tablets to shrink it and then I will be a year older (I am currently 51) and then hoping when I stop the tablets my periods are much lighter and manageable (if the fibroid has shrunk). Good luck.
