Everything is worse

Hello all, really sorry to be hounding everyone again but I just wanted some advice/input on things sad

I've had problems with balance and vertigo since February after a virus. ive been back and fourth the the doctors all year.

I've only just recently been and my GP suspected Eustachian tube dysfunction and gave me a nasal spray which I used for two weeks and then I noticed my vision felt off - slightly vibrating or things appeared to be moving.

I had a thorough eye test three weeks ago (the second this year,) and they found no problems either time.

My GP said it could be the spray but it wasn't likely and told me to stop taking it and she would call me back in about a week.

I've had a nasty cold for the past four days and my woozyness and visual problems have been WORSE.

The sensation of movement and woozyness is making me feel a little queasy (and my anxiety is off the chart again.)

I thought I might have lanyrinthitis - but I've also feared the absolute worse and thought I could have a tumour. Every doctor I have seen (and I also saw the same one on four different occasions,) all told me I did not show symptoms. It's been ten months now in total and as I'm physically and mentally okay (bar my anxiety,) my tumour phobia isn't so high anymore. But I keep panicking that something is wrong and keep feeling the urge to run to A&E.

I'm so worried that I'm just getting worse now, even though I know I've got a horrid cold. I suppose I wanted some reassurance or something. I feel quite miserable sad

Sillymop - you have the opinion of multiple specialists and they believe you are clear. Let me assure that this is exactly how I feel even when I have a common cold. My start imagining the absolutely most horrible possiblities! It is impossible for me to keep my head of the negative extremes. So you are not alone in your battle. We are all in this together!

Hi Shan, thanks for replying smile

Glad I am not the only one. I never did this before February this year. I've never had health anxiety like this before and I'm struggling rolleyes

When I walk around I feel the movement is so extreme it is like my vision 'bounces' and the woozyness is far worse. I am quite congested though but before I was able to still get on (just about,) since the bug I currently have my symptoms of woozyness and my vision are a bit more debilitating.

I am hoping that as the cold leaves me and swelling dies down that I will get into a more even footing, but it scares me that it won't go.
