EVOREL CONTI

I put in my repeat prescription to the chemist (UK) only to be told there is an issue with the supply. Has this happened to anyone else.? This makes me anxious as I don't want to have to change.

Thanks for replying, the chemist said there was an issue and I had to contact my doctor. I hope it's just an issue.

we had this happen in Australia last year. A friend of mine who uses this hrt was given an alternative (combination of progesterone pill and estrogen patch) and she coped well with the change. She was happy when the supply was returned though so she could go back on the evorel.

me too livvy! (I have had this issue with other medications too.). your pharmacist should be able to source any available stock for you. if there is none ,then you'll have to speak with your doctor. i make sure i get my prescription in as early as possible to try and avoid the anxiety. i too don't want to come off this. the last hrt i was on i had to change because they couldn't get hold of any. i think that's an outrage. brexit! Good luck and i hope this rectifies itself x

Thanks Ruby. I wondered if it was a brexit thing too. So annoying. I have had a number of diff types of Hrt and these patches seem the best. Such a stressful time.

Me too. Mine was Elleste Duet Conti (combination hrt). Came to repeat my prescription & was told it was not available. I asked if they could source it from another pharmacy to be told there is a problem with the supplier. I was given an alternative as they coildnt get hold of my normal one. Within 6 days my symptoms were back! I rang the gp to tell her, she advised we go for another brand, Kliofem. It has taken at least a month to to get back to 'normal'. I did think that I would be clever & just buy the Ellest online, however, none of the online pharmacies have this medication either. There is a problem with the supply from the manufacturers. I emailed the manufactures to ask if & when it may be available, sadly no response. I do want to get back on to my meds as it works so quickly for me & I havent had any side effects with it. Good luck & I hope you can get back onto what you had.

Thanks Rachel. I used to be on elleste duet at one point a few years ago but there was a supply issue. The everol seem good and they are patches so only twice a week which really works for me. I worry its a brexit thing. I hope you get yours sorted as it's so good when you get an Hrt that works well for you.
