Exercise

Hi all,

I am 4 months post TRH and doing well. Due to lack of mobility whilst recovering I’ve gained a few pounds and need to get it back off.  I am walking loads but it’s not shifting the weight but I’ve seen these weighted hula hoops and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts? The pounds gained have all been on my tummy so I think this would be ideal but don’t want to do any harm to the hip.

I am 10 weeks post op and in the same boat!  All in the tummy area, so frustrating!  Was very active prior, now back to lots of walking and swimming but no luck in the weight dept.  Still gaining sad

I love my hula hoop BUT I would consult your surgeon regarding that motion at this point in your healing. Im 3 months PO and twisting/hip thrusting is still a no-no. Just food for thought. Good luck!

Perhaps reducing the carbs a bit might also help rather than just exercise.
