hey, im a 16 years old boy. 4 days ago i started seeing white/gray and black/brown floaters in my vision. this have been constant since that and it's causing extreme anxiety for me. i think this symptom came as i were googling brain tumor symptoms and saw something about floaters. however the day before this occured i was to the opticians because i had some eye strain that was constant for 7 days. i got some eye drops for dey eyes. 1 day after this i started getting eye floaters...
what can this be? i'm so scared :'(

Eye floaters are common. I developed them in both eyes in 2017.
They recommend that you get seen by an ophthalmologist to check it out to make sure you don't have a significant problem
The ophthalmologist checked me a few times over a several month time frame, and said everything was OK, and I would have to live with it.

work on reducing your anxiety because the more you have the more you will see the floaters. There are some great meditations on YouTube for anxiety that I do every night and they completely relax my mind and symptoms. Floaters are generally harmless. You’re going to be fine

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me. I saw a floater in the car small like they always were for me since I was born. But after I saw it and went outside I saw an abundance of dark floaters and clear floaters that were bigger then ever. It's been two weeks and I searched my symptoms. Which was a mistake. I also have dry eyes which doesn't help the anxiety over my eyes on top of seeing eye floaters anytime I'm outside. You're not alone it's caused by anxiety. Just breath my dude. Breath.
