Eye Pain, Sign of MS?

Hi everyone,

I am incredibly worried, for the past few days I have been suffering from a rather painful dull aching behind my eyes. It's hard to determine but the pain seems to be more severe in my right eye. The pain is triggered by moving my eyes to the side or up and down. I have heard that this kind of pain can be one of the first sign of MS? Could anyone give me some advice on the likelihood of this being MS? I am incredibly anxious right now. Also I think it's worth noting that at this time there does not seem to be any trouble with vision like blurring or loss of sight.

    I've never had the eye thing that can come with ms but I suffer dry eye in my right eye and recently I had a conjunctival cyst with an infection (nit conjunctivitis ) and the optician I saw said it was a sign of Arthritis, now my neuro said he thought I had Arthritis in August but my Dr said no its ms ...I think it's linked to ms but my eye ached like that. See your optician and Dr. Good luck. PS my neuro said not everyone with ms gets the eye problems

    Matthew go see a neurologist before you worry yourself sick. I was recently dxd with MS and have all types of symptoms. The problem is no one's MS is the same.

    Not everyone with Optic Neuritis suffers from MS and not everyone with MS has eye problems... I have MS (abot 26 years) and I have never had any eye issues - so unfortunately I can't be much help.
