fainting with ibs symptoms

hi i am 62 old female having problems was at work when all of a sudden felt weak,dizzy,and almost fainted started to have pain in my left side,came home and slept in a very deep sleep woke up had diarhae and vomiting,and so weak had to use walker to get aorund have been up and down sometimes feeling much better then all of a sudden the syptoms come back no notice when it comes on see dr on tues,but what to do in the meantime

    Hi, I’m pleased to see you are going to see your doctor, as the symptoms may not be connected to your IBS, not that I’m suggesting anything in particular.  In the meantime get plenty of rest and stick to a simple diet. I hope you are feeling well again soon.

      not yet just going by what my symptoms are i know it is not my heart as i have had lots of tests done and my specialist said that was fine, i just want to know what as i work alone on the floor in an old age home and it sometimes can take awhile before the nurse can come so not good if i pass out there so scary been by ambulance 3 times to hospitol so really trying not to have to go thru the emergency room thank-you for anwsering

      Keep going back to your doctor to get a definitive diagnosis.  Sometimes you can faint as a result of intense pain, but further testing may be needed to uncover the cause.
