Family member has been having nonhealing skin for months, what can we do?

A family member has been having open sores and non healing skin inflammation for months now and the bleeding from the wounds won't stop. It's centered around the face, neck, and ears. We have seen several doctors and we've had a biopsy done on the skin and the doctors said it was chronic skin inflammation. We can't seem to get a second opinion and was wondering if anyone could help. Thank you.

Hello Elizabeth, I have an autoimmune disease called Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid & as a result have joined a support group that has brought me into contact with people with another autoimmune disease, called Pemphigus Vulgaris - PV

    Are you in the UK?

Has your family member seen a Dermatologist?  And has your family member been prescribed anything?
