My daughter is 9 years old.We think she has FAPS. I can't find any information about people that had this and no longer have it and how long they did have this problem. I can't accept this is a permanent problem .But.also the doctor hasn't told us much I found more from Google than anyone else.

    Hi christophe02353

It can also be just stomach pain with no apparant cause. I can remember having that at around 9-10 years old doctor had no clue what was causing it. I was sent to tbe hospital and saw a consultant i can remember him saying to my mother it may be that my reproduction organs, ovaries were preparing for menstruation. The pain eventually went and not long after that i started menstruating. I'm not saying this is what happening with your daughter, but it is a possibility.....hope you get to the cause...
