Fatigue

Hi Ladies

After a few months of not having a period one arrived last week which i was less then thrilled!

Ever since the period which has now ended i have extreme fatigue which is uncommon for me. I have a hard time even functioning at work and i am sleeping now a good 8 or 9 hours solid which is not usual for me either.

Anyone get severe fatigue in perimenopause?

If so, any good recommendations, i take a multi everyday already

Yep, extreme fatigue is one if the symptoms of menopause. Some days i felt so exhausted, after I'd got the kids off to school I'd go back to bed (i work part time from home) fir a little nap and wake up at 2pm! It does pass though. Just look after yourself. Employers should be aware of the experiences of female employees undergoing menopause as part of mental health awareness.

I absolutely agree. Employers only pay attention to women when they have a bump/pregnant. Other than that pms or menapause are not acknowledged at all. So SAD

No, what i mean by "should be" is not that employers aught to take onto account menopause symptoms but that many employers are now doing so as part of mental health awareness and, as such, your employer should also be doing this (mine is).
