After reading some of the posts lately, I started thinking about what diversion tactics I use to block out the pain. It got me wondering what tactics you all use.
Apart from getting on with life as best I can, I do a few things to take my mind off it all. Doing simple crosswords, I don't have the
or patience for cryptic. Watching TV programs like Antique
Roadshow and watching movies. Reading novels, and going online to read articles. Finally reading and responding to this forum. Tomorrow I am going to attempt to make a healthy cake, wish me luck.

I like to play Candy Crush and other logic games on my phone like Flow Free. When I have the energy I like to be in my garden and get down to do the weeding. On a sunny day drive down to Brighton and enjoy the seafront. x

I enjoy gardening too (when I feel up to it) but thats on hold for now with the living in a flat, oh well ay,
I also like to watch films and tv series, usually with a hot water bottle, but I also find creative things like knitting and crochet when my hands aren't hurting too much,
Hope your cake is nice, baking sounds a lovely distraction!! x x

Haven't made the cake yet but today is the day, it has weird ingredients like coconut flour etc, so not sure about it, but nothing ventured nothing gained.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

smaller than what the recipe needed, so may try an extra egg next time. It is worth persevering with as it was delicious. I think it was the vanilla pod seeds, coconut milk and organic cacao that made it so yum.
