Im 19 years old for all of my life weight has been a issue. I constantly always feel bad about my body or that I'm too fat. recently I was put on seroquel and ive read it makes you gain weight and makes it very hard to lose weight. ive finally in my life reached a weight im content with. Should I tell my doctor I don't want to continue the medication? Is weight gain common with this medication?

I took it for a long time and I gained weight. I'm not on it anymore. But I was on another one that also caused weight gain and I was given topamax to try and counteract the other one that caused weight gain.
