Hi, I have been suffering with IBS for many years. I am now fed up of not eating foods I wish to eat, not going out for meals because I have stomachache once I've eaten, this spoils any plans I want to make. I have been poorly for 3 weeks so haven't eaten a meal since then. But the bits of food I do eat make me bloated, my stomach goes from flat and jeans being too big to then feeling full and my jeans being too tight. I want to be comfy in clothes and get my life back. Sorry for the rant. 🙄 Can anyone help ? Thank you . Chloe .

Hi just wondering if you are on some medication that could be causing your discomfort. I stopped taking Amlodipine and my gastric problems slowly went away. I'm going to my doctor to have my meds changed. ....hope you find your pathway to healing because I can relate.

If you are not eating properly your tummy is empty and the gases will make you feel bloated as they will be looking for some food to get some nourishment. If you are not eating milk may settle your tummy for a short period of time. You still need to eat that will help you with your tummy ache as well

Dear Chloe, I've been in the same situation for last three years since having my gallbladder out. Constant stomach ache, constantly bloated, pain, nausea, dihoreah....never ending. I've just spent all my savings on a health retreat. I spent 5 days just juicing and drinking water. I've lost 10lbs but I feel fantastic. My stomach is normal again, and I've detoxed all the nastiness out of me. I'm now eating really clean, no more sugary foods, no more fatty foods. Just salads, soups, juicing every day. In a few days I will reintroduce chicken and fish, and roasted veg. And that's it for me. I will, in a month or so, allow myself a slice of pizza or maybe an Indian meal....but feeling better is tons better than how I've been feeling last few years. It comes down to making a decision on taking control of your eating to make yourself well. I'm the first to admit I have zero control over my cravings but I'm determined now to carry on the good work I did at the retreat. I hope you can find a way to change your diet. It's worth it. Good luck x

Hi Amanda, I have been suffering from IBS for the past 10 months and it has been about 3 weeks that I'm on the FOD MAP diet and taking Metamucil once a day, it helps me a lot on emptying the bowels, but even though I'm not feeling really good; I have a lot of fatigue, nauseous and pain in my stomach so I was thinking I would change my diet for the juicing and water, I really hope it can help me too...I just would like to ask you to keep posting here how are you feeling now that you started reintroducing the chicken, fish....
Thank you!
