Feelin down

I have been on the tabs for 3 days now and tonight I am feeling a bit miserable.Nothin out the odinary has happened so I am questioning if they are workin!!!!!!Also I have spent so many years yo-yo dieting I can feel myself gettin back into that dreaded obsessive cycle again!!!I guess I did not realise how much effort I needed to put in to it,its just like bein back at the weekly slimming club.I just want it to be part off my normal life but i dont know how!!!I am so hard on myself,I am 5ft 9 and weigh 14-6 so its not that I have loads and loads to lose but it gets me down!!I thought these little jems were gonna be my lifeline!!!

I must sound a right winger..sorry :cry:

    Aww cheer up it's early days! Nothing happened for me for the first few days because they made me all bloaty and horrible then one day BAM I'd lost 5lbs! Don't give up! Just think yourself lucky you haven't had any nasty side effects!!

    I know how you feel im only 3 days in and i've been a total bitch today! I didn't sleep a wink last night or the night before even tho i have been real tired!

    I have snapped at everyone today and had a huge fall out with my best friend! :cry:

    I understand what you mean about the slimming club thing. I went shopping today and was looking at the fat content on everything!

    I want you to know that you're not on your own. Im 5ft 4 and 13 stone. Got 3 stone to loose and feel like its a life time away!

    I like you haven't had any side effects and keep doing stupid things like trying on clothes that are 2 small, realising they dont fit then getting all depressed again!

    Are these things really gonna work? I want orange oil so that i can see something happening!!!!

    trust me you don't want the orange oil experience!!!! I made that mistake before finding this forum

    Just keep on 'being sensible' I know its boring but if you keep at it it will work!!!

    I've been on these for 6 days now.I must admit im finding it hard with sticking to low fat things.I do slip up but the way i see it is,im still doing better than i was before.Even if im not perfect smile

    I have alot of weight to lose so im praying these work for me too.

    I know what you mean - I'm on day 4 and feeling bloated and full although the bloating does seem to be easing today so maybe its just the body getting used to the \"bluies\". I even managed to go out for a chinese meal last nite and still lost weight - yipee :D

    Luckily no other side effects and I was carefully wot I ate, no fried stuff, mainly chicken in lettuce leaves, chicken and seasonal steamed veg - v yummy.

    i'm loving these babies!!!

    My trick is to stay postive, wear the clothes that make you feel good and look for low fat foods that you enjoy eating!!!

    I've found some scrummy yogurts in Sainsbury which are virtually fat free so when im hungry/grumpy/miserable i eat one of those!!!

    Ditto!

    Unfortunately the tablets aren`t magic (bummer..lol)! We have to put the effort in also....by eating properly and then the tablets will do their bit.

    The orange oil only means that uve eaten too much fat. Don`t look for that as a sign that the tablets are working.

    Ive never had it, and Ive lost 7lbs.

    Thanx for all your feedback and advice glad to see that I am not alone,I do feel better this morning so onwards and upwards as they say!!!I think this forum is really helpful for us!!!Just another thing that I am a little concerned at is that I dont eat enough fat at brekkie and lunch.....is this a problem do you think?????

    I dont eat much fat in these meals either, it means i can eat a nicer dinner!!! I dont think its a problem but dont starve you

    I eat a banana and a yogurt for breakie, a salad for lunch with another yogurt and snack on grapes and tescos cereal bars, the value ones are only 1.7g of fat and they are white chocolate and strawberry mmm mmmm mmmm

    Then i have things like chicken and pasta for tea but can have a sauce with it, Last night i had grilled gammon steak, poached eggs and grilled mushrooms with no side effects! yayyyyyyyy

    We are always here if people need a moan, got questions, or just generally want to chat!

    Hi Motorsportgirlie!

    Can I ask, when you eat your breakfast and lunch do you take a tab after :?: as they dont contain much fat if any :!:

    I've been reading and other gals out there advise not to take them if you haven't eaten a meal with at least 15g of fat in cos it would be a waste of a tab. I'm at the end of my 3rd week on tabs but have only used up 2 weeks worth as I'm eating very low fat meals.

    I've also heard they have to 'get into your system' but if you're not taking them all the time how can they get into it :?

    I'm REALLY CONFUSED :!:

    My understanding is that you take them with a meal three times a day unless there is no fat in the meal - hope that helps

    When i spoke to the doctor and the dietician, you should take them unless there is less then 1g of fat in the meal.

    Hope this helps.

    Its doing something as I've lost 9lbs in 2 weeks

    Thanks guys, perhaps thats why I've not lost anything up to my own weigh in last week sad

    Will start giving it large with them seeing as I now have got an unused weeks worth :!: Hope I start losing before my visit to the drs next week :wink:
