Feeling awful around period time

Anyone not having periods but when it's time for one you feel so bad? This is the time I should have one but not but feel so so awful. Im so weak and fatigue, bloated like crazy. Nothing I take gives me energy. Does anyone else have symptoms around due time for period but no period, or do you experience symptoms all month?

I haven't seen a period since age of 23 (cancer) but still have these symptoms and irritability. I only have one ovary, started with peri menopause at 39, 9 years later still get symptoms.

So sorry Suzanne that you endure that at a young age. May I ask what kind did you have? I have one ovary too...sometimes I think that's why my symptoms are so drastic.

I think it is that your body just remembers. Your body is programed and now it has to reprogram its self and over time it will get less and less. It is still suck in the program of monthly periods so your body reacts as if it is going to have a period. Similar to Pavlov's dogs and his discovery of classical conditioning. It can take time so hang in there.

Just wanted to clarify I know you have hormones and they are all over the place right now causing all kind of chaos, but your body has been program for many many many years to have a monthly period. So now your body still reacts as if it is still going to have a period. It is called conditioning. Your thyroid can do the same thing, when you take a thyroid that is hyper or hypo for some time and regulated the thyroid. It can then take a while for the body to stop producing certain symptoms that it became condition to when your thyroid was causing chaos as well.
